Reading notes

Coverage: The research report describes 48 stories across six Canadian and five U.S. outlets; its accompanying newsroom list contains 51 itemized entries, all shown here. Headlines were verified as current for October 8–10 through news search, attributed aggregator listings and direct fetches where available.

Open gaps: Direct outlet homepages and RSS feeds remained policy-blocked during collection. Globe-specific fresh top stories were thin in the search window, and no clean USA Today article fetch was available; those items rely on verified fresh feeds and secondary coverage.

Links: Direct outlet article pages were not consistently retrievable. “Read available source” may open a wire copy, official statement, video, print-edition list or the aggregator page used to verify the story rather than the newsroom named on the card.
